Velotrain Visits Loughborough University

Velotrain founder Paul Moore recently visited Loughborough University, spending time at the renowned Peter Harrison Laboratory for Disability Sport to showcase the Velotrain Accessible Rollers and connect with leading experts in disability sport and applied research.

During the visit, Paul met with Professor Vicky Goosey-Tolfrey, alongside George Thompson from the Matt Hampson Foundation and Research Associate Adam Dickinson-Schill. The session provided a valuable opportunity to demonstrate the product’s key features and explore how it supports accessible cycling for a wide range of users.

The discussion focused on the practical benefits of Velotrain — including its simplicity, adaptability, and ability to support fitness, training, track side and independent use. The team also shared insights from their work in disability sport, creating an open and collaborative conversation around innovation and real-world application.

Paul commented: “What a wonderful opportunity it was to return to Loughborough University, where I studied sports science and meet with Vicky, Adam, and George. I really appreciated the invite, and it was great to reconnect and talk about Velotrain and the wider potential of the product.”

The visit highlighted the importance of collaboration between product development, research and application, helping to ensure that solutions like Velotrain continue to meet the needs of real users.
