The Velotrain team recently welcomed Keith Carter to their offices to trial a new Stricker Smart Dynamic handbike as part of a fitting and assessment session.
The Velotrain Accessible Rollers proved invaluable throughout the process, allowing Keith to test the handbike, make adjustments, and then immediately try it again without interruption. Thanks to the rollers, he was also able to complete an extended test ride indoors despite the poor weather outside.
Dan Sutton from Susurro was on hand to support the assessment and saw the Velotrain in action for the first time. He commented that he was impressed not only by the product itself, but also by the fact that Velotrain had designed, tested, and now manufactures the rollers in-house. Dan could clearly see the benefits they offer during handbike assessments and felt other handbike dealers could benefit from using them within their own fitting and assessment processes.
Paul Moore, Founder of Velotrain, added:
“Having the Velotrain to hand meant that Dan could easily carry out an assessment for the Stricker handbike and make any necessary adjustments. It was even more useful because it was raining outside and often the person having the assessment would have to go outside to test the adjustments, but on this occasion Keith was able to stay in the warm and dry.”
The session highlighted another practical benefit of Velotrain Accessible Rollers – helping users, assessors, and dealers get the most from every assessment, whatever the weather.
